She’s conquered the modelling world and is beginning to make her mark on the big screen too.

And on Saturday Rosie Huntington-Whiteley continued her quest for world domination by picking up an empowering book during a relaxed shopping trip with her boyfriend Jason Statham.

The 35-year-old looked casual as she hit independent book store Book Soup in West Hollywood, emerging with a bag full of reads.

Time to shop: Rosie Huntington-Whiteley dressed down in ripped skinny jeans and an army green jacket as she shopped at Book Soup in West Hollywood with Jason Statham

Rosie and her partner of five years Jason, dressed down for their outing, with the blonde beauty pairing her ripped skinny jeans with a striped t-shirt.

An army green jacket and a chic hat finished off her look, while the model ditched the heels for comfy slip-on shoes.

Jason, 55, matched Rosie’s casual look in grey trousers and a black shirt as he carried a large bag out of the popular store.

Later, Rosie showed off one of her purchases, the New York Times bestseller #GIRLBOSS, posting an Instagram photo of herself settling down with the book.

Written by Sophia Amoruso, the founder of fashion emporium Nasty Gal, the book shares the entrepreneur’s story while empowering women to find success in their careers.

Rosie seems to be doing pretty well without the popular book to guide her, having made the tricky leap from modelling to acting over the past couple of years.

She may only have two acting credits to her name so far, but following on from her 2011 starring role alongside Shia Labeouf in Transformers: Dark Of The Moon, she seems to have won the skeptical critics round with a part in this year’s smash hit Mad Max: Fury Road.

Rosie plays a pregnant Splendid Angharad in the blockbuster, one of the five wives fleeing from the film’s villain Immortan Joe with the help of Tom Hardy and Charlize Theron’s central duo.

Rosie told Esquire recently that she learned a lot about her new craft from Tom and Charlize, explaining: ‘It’s like chalk and cheese watching them before a take and after a take. Tom is very method. He’s very, very intense and dedicated to the role of Max. He’s very quiet, within himself a lot. And Charlize was laughing out loud. But when they say, “Action!” and she wants to get the job done.’

‘She’s asking brilliant questions that you wouldn’t think of asking and she’s done months of preparation and research before hand, so when she gets on set she knows exactly what she’s doing.’
